Is there a risk in appealing ADP review

More
4 days 1 hour ago #314915 by Mo
I recently lost 2 points in my ADP review, dropping me from enhanced to standard living allowance. . I'm uneasy in appealing even though reason doesn't make sense. I was advised to just tick no change and send back but stupidly felt it necessary to mention a recent ADHD assessment which attributed to some of my daily difficulties. Appealling means that my whole application is reviewed again not just the section that I lost points in. Possibly resulting in further loss of points. Can anyone advise?

Hi Mo

I can't tell you what to do here. I have no idea whether a review will cost you more points. I would like to say it is unlikely, but I honestly don't know, so I'm afraid the best you can do is rely on gut instinct. Whatever you decide, you have to live with it and not think afterwards that you should have done it differently.

I have only heard of a couple of members appealing their ADP, but I haven't heard of the outcome and whether it was positive or negative.

Sorry - I can't help further than that.
