I noticed something on the latest review form AR1 on Preparing food and cooking. In the part 'Things we do consider' it mentions 'safely cooking, using a microwave or hob to cook or heat food'. I thought eating up a meal in a microwave didn't count as being able to perform this activity. Has anything change in the law that would make heating a ready meal in the microwave the equivalent to being able to perform the activity without any help or aids? Thanks
You will find the effects of using a microwave on the PIP descriptors and the case law in this useful summary from Pipinfo:- pipinfo.net/activities/preparing-food
