I was wondering if you could answer a question for me please. Received an extension letter stating that pip has been extended to October 2029. It says ( we will contact you again after the 26th October 2028 to see if your needs have changed and you are getting the right amount of pip. We may extend the end date of your pip award again. If we do we will write to you to tell you. I am confused, what does this mean, does it mean they will contact me in October 2027? As I know they start the review a year before hand. I would appreciate any clarity you can give me with your expertise. I really look forward to your reply as I am still feeling very anxious about what this actually means for me. Thank you.
Most people are posted the review form 8 months prior to their end date. So it could well not be until March 2029. But a lot could happen in the next 3 years politically that may have an effect on DWP Benefits.
