Hello, I hope someone can help. I get ESA support group plus some UC with housing element and I am about to claim PIP as advised by CAB. I may have misunderstood but looking at the guides on your site I am confused about the combination of PIP and ESA. If I am awarded PIP is it possible I will be worse off/have some of my ESA or UC taken away or will it not make any difference? Thank you.
PIP will not reduce your UC or ESA. In fact in some respects it will be beneficial as depending on your local councils Council Tax Reduction scheme you may pay less Council Tax.
