Looks as if common sense has prevailed after all. my husband got in touch with a lady at CAB not in our area (ours always shut), this lady spent most of one morning sorting out our problem. She rang local jobcentre, who in turn rang DWP, who made payment straight away plus arrears, i think a trip to see her with a bunch of flowers is in order.
