dla form 80.

i do wonder why these forms DLA 80 are being sent out?Is it to verify your claim or to check up on you?I thought ,on intial receipt of it,that someone must have reported me as the letter stated they ahd received information that cast doubts on my dla claim.
Now have to wait and see what happens during the medical at my home on Tuesday.
I also thought you had to have sufficient notice to prepare for a medical visit?I receive the notification this morning Friday,saying its happening Tuesday.

A DLA80 is supposed to be because they have some reason to doubt that you are entitled to the DLA you are receiving. For example, it may arise from a tip off to the DWP from someone who thinks you're not entitled, or may arise from some apparent inconsistency between the information you have given them and some other information held by a government department.
