Esa Medical imminent

I have been receiving ESA for nearly 2 years and have to have another medical shortly. If I fail this time and appeal,will I go back to the assessment rate or will I continue on my present rate?

I am afraid you will only receive the Assessment rate while you appeal.

If you win, then the difference between this and the rate you would have received will be backdated to the Decision date.
