DLA care award

well, finally I am getting somewhere.

DLA have informed me on the phone this morning that I have been awarded DLA Care but they cannot tell me what level and I need to wait for the letter to come.

So, something has finally happened but looks like will need to wait until tomorrow or Monday to get the official notice.

UPDATE
Well, I phoned them again and they told me that I had only been awarded LRC.

So, I have asked for a GL24 and am going to appeal as this award does not take into account the issues I have and the fact that I have a full time live in carer.

Here we go again, more grief for goodness knows how many months ahead.
