How do you tell them that you have died?Other changes
Any changes to do with you or your partner
You must also tell us if you or your partner
start any kind of work or training or course
start claiming another benefit
get a pension or your pension changes
change the amount of your saving
start living with someone have someone come to live in your house, or someone who was living in your house leaves
get married or form a civil partnership
get divorced, break up a civil partnership, or separate
are involved in a trade dispute, or cannot work because of a trade dispute
lose a job
move house
go into or leave hospital
go into or leave prison or legal custody
go away from home, even if it is for a day
join or leave the household
die
go abroad or plan to go abroad.
You have to inform them if your savings change, but this happens every time you make a purchase. They don't specify how much your savings must change.

You are "a one" Derek !!! LOL.
I think we needed an injection of humour !
Maybe every claimant should contact DWP, if they are away for the day at a hospital appoinment etc, I wonder how they would cope with that!.

The DWP do ask on income-related benefit claim forms how much money you actually have in your purse/wallet/pocket at any given time, and include it in the section entitled "About bank and building society accounts, savings and property!"
Is this a wind up CD, if not it's unbelievable!!!!.

Anyway Derek,
There is is quite a reasonable solution to the "Dying" criteria that I'm sure the DWP would reasonably expect a claimant to carry out.
Arrange a "Seance" from beyond through your spirit guide??.
