I have mental health problems as well as CFS chronic pain etc. They did call me for medical but my doctor said I needed to be seen at home and then they wrote and told me that I am in the support group. So thank you because this site really made all the difference with the form. They have also told me this is for 3 years!!! even more amazing.
One question I wrote and asked for esa 85a and ESA 65 from my DWP office and they phoned my support worker yesterday and said that because I did not have a medical they don't have this information to send me but told her it was for three years.I don't understand this and would really like to know what the decision is based on and to have the time confirmed in writing any advice what to do?

I recently got the news that I have been placed in the support group without having to have a medical which feels like a miracle.

Hi M,
Congratulations on being put straight into support group.
It is refreshingly good that your G.P. has been so supportive, and this has obviously helped with your award.
I can not think of a reason why the DWP DM, can not provide you with written confirmation of the length of your award, and expected review date.
I would certainly push for this, or if you don't feel up to it yourself, ask your support worker to chase the DM up.
There is far to much of this fobbing off of claimants going on.
Anyway, try and relax, and concentrate on dealing with your conditions, and not jumping through hoops in the ESA WCA process.
cheers
