Just wanted to add my experience.
I am hubbys carer and when the call came I answered and they asked to speak to hubby. I asked who it was as I was his carer and they said they couldn't tell me, data protection etc.... I did try, but to no avail, and not wanting to cause any trouble, I duly passed the phone to hubby.
I thought the least they could have done was tell me who it was.
