A month to appeal?

Send the GL24 form to the address on the decision letter. That should be the address of the relevant Benefits Delivery Office.
The people you speak to on the phone are usually in centralised call centres and not collocated with the decision makers. The decision makers are not necessarily near to where you live, they are clustered together. The postal addresses are centralised and not where the offices are. In short, use the address on the letter and consider the location of DWP services an interesting matter to ponder but not of consequence when appealing except for the possibility of your paperwork getting lost between different offices.

Thank you for your reply but it seems you haven't read the thread. I am seeing my MP tomorrow. I'll repost when I get further information!

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

I think RedDog's addressing Survivor, who advised him to "send the GL24 form to the address on the decision letter".I've gone back over the thread and can't see anything wrong with the answers, based on the information you have provided in each post, have we missed something?
RedDog's problem is that he hasn't yet received a decision letter.
RedDog, go to your local JobCentre, ask for a GL24 and make sure they give you a prepaid envelope which will have the correct address to which the form should be sent.
Or if you can't get out, call and ask them to read you the address.
Good luck!

Gordon.
I think it may be #77599 advises him to send his GL24 to the address on his decision letter, but his concern is that he has not received a decision letter but was informed in a telephone call.

Red dog - I apologise for having missed that. You're right - I didn't read the thread, or rather, I only skimmed it.
My apologies.
