Waiting for ESA Examination

I have been trying to claim ESA since 1st March 2012. At the same time I apoplied for DLA and this was granted without as medical. I have waited over the 13 week Assessment period now and still no ATOS appointment I have rung them only to be told "you ore on a list and we cant tell you when you get an appontment. I have tried the DWP who tell me to talk to ATOS. I am going round in circles and am not getting ther correct ESA benefit. What else can I do to speed this up?

As you say, things are taking much longer than they should at the moment. I waited from October til April for my ESA 'medical'and this seems the norm. If you are awarded ESA your payment will be backdated to the first day of week 14.
