I’ve just had my ESA50 form through and after going through all the details on this site am going to fill it in carefully and use all the advice but I can honestly say I am dreading the inhuman process I know I am going to endure over the next few weeks and months. My condition has not changed, the operations and hospital treatments have not made me better, I am worse than when I first went on IB but I know ATOS will pass me as fit for work, as most ATOS customers are it seems by default. I really wonder if the DWP think my injuries I suffered, the chronic and acute pain I am in every day as a result of serving my country including my Industrial injuries award will deem me any more fit for work than last week or when I first became injured. I went through the whole complicated process of my service medicals deeming me unfit for work as did all the many subsequent DWP medicals and doctors panels I had to go through years ago, which I have to say I passed with flying colours with the promise of the last doctor, you will never have to go through a DWP medical again. Is it worth the pain, injuries and suffering serving our country? I wish I was that young man again as I would have had to say no it is not.
Sorry for the rant, but I just had to get the rant off my chest before I have to take more pain killers, some of the long list of which I take each day just to be pain free. And yes I can pick up and move an empty cardboard box.
