Hi all, had my WFI yesterday, wasn’t too happy with having to go. The lady I met was nice enough; first thing that she told me was that I had been assessed as unfit for work for two years. I asked why then I was put into the WRAG and was going to lose my ESA after a year? She couldn’t give me an answer other than all people and I quote in the support group had a ‘terminal’ diagnosis. I think this answer was either borne of ignorance or she had been told to say it because she repeated the terminal prognosis three or four times. Her only positive for my situation was that she mentioned that I might be able to apply for pension credits. If anyone can point me to any info on pension credits I’d be grateful. She also told me that my file had been returned to her office for the reconsideration and appeal. This made me think that she might have had an input into the process. Is that possible? The notes on my medical problems she had in front of her were incorrect and watered down descriptions for example I have Crohn’s disease of the bowel which is pretty serious she had the description colitis which can imply a little bowel irritation. And that was that, my next WFI will be in August 2014 and I can’t wait!
