That I will have a better chance of succeeding. Can anyone tell me who to approach to represent me..ie citizens advice, or advice works or a certain type of lawyer...Thanx folks...

I think you may be jumpning the gun a bit if you have not even had your WCA assessment yet, but the following FAQ contains the major agencies that you can contact, also, you can Google "benefit advice" with your town or county to get list of local advisors.
