appeal & review

Hi, I have just filled out my ESA50 review and sent it off. I did my last one in December of last year. I am coming towards the end of the reconsideration part of my appeal but, as of yet, have not heard anything. What I was wondering was if I am put in the support group, from the WRAG, after this review but my appeal is not successful what happens then, I am in the support group, or not? Many thanks.

You would go into the support group, and be paid as such, from the date of the new decision. Be warned that it can also happen the other way round - if the appeal result put you into the Support Group, that would only last until the date of the decision on your new claim.

Please will Rosie confirm whether she is referring to the result of the reassessment or the reconsideration (which is part of the appeal)?

It's difficult to be clear about ESA.

I think (might be wrong) that the OP was referring to being placed in the SG after the 'ESA50 review' as opposed to the reconsideration.

Rosie needs to clarify her circumstances.

From her original post, I thought that she had appealed a decision to place her in the WRAG as a result of filling in an ESA50 last December, and had just filled in a second ESA50 ??
