results of ESA assessment in France was created by cochondinde
Hi, please can any other members living in France let me know how long they have had to wait for the result of their assessment. I have now been waiting 8 months and cannot face phoning to find out what is going on.
I realise moderators cannot answer my question.

Hi,
I was waiting nearly 5 months so I suggest you telephone them and it will
put your mind at rest. The phone number should be on the letter you received and they are helpfull.

Hi, my husband phoned on Wednesday and was told they would phone him back. They phoned back a few minutes later and told him that I had been put in the support group. They apologised for the delay and said they would send a letter but it would take about 4-5 weeks.
Yesterday a woman phoned and apologised to my husband for the delay and told him again that I was in the "Employment Support Group" which will take effect from October and that I would be paid every two weeks instead of every 4 weeks.
It has been so stressful and has affected my health so badly. I think my migration slipped through the net or kept falling to the bottom of the pile as I have waited 8 months.
I feel relieved to know the outcome but I can't help worrying when is the next assessment letter going to drop through the letter box. I don't think anybody being assessed in France has been told when to expect another assessment.
I would like to thank everybody on 'benefitsandwork' for being there.
