Medical reports and the law, must they read them?

Hi, can anyone please tell me if decision makers are required by law to read any medical reports you submit or are they no rules to require them to do so.

Hi j37,

DWP Decision Makers are supposed to take all available evidence into account in coming to a decision on "The balance of probabilities".

ATOS HCP's are also supposed to take all available evidence into account when making recommendations in the form of a medical report.
