Medical reports and the law, must they read them? 7 years 6 months ago #98307

Hi, can anyone please tell me if decision makers are required by law to read any medical reports you submit or are they no rules to require them to do so.

Thanks, and thanks very much to B & W for such excellent info.

Hi j37,

DWP Decision Makers are supposed to take all available evidence into account in coming to a decision on "The balance of probabilities".

ATOS HCP's are also supposed to take all available evidence into account when making recommendations in the form of a medical report.
