to find out how many points you scored in your assessment, I have been placed in support group for six months after previous medical gave me eighteen months, obviously happy with outcome, just wonder why it is six months this time? do not really want to speak to them, would just be interested how they arrived at this decision, without a medical this time, and why the award is shorter, as my condition is degenerative, so it will be worse in six months time, should I just be happy with the decision or contact them and ask for a copy of how they arrived at their decision?

Hi ff,

Well done on the SG award !!! :)

Thanks for letting us know.

If it is a 6 months prognosis, you can expect to receive a new ESA50 a few months before that.

If you don't wish to contact them by phone, you can issue a SAR, the information on my post here, should help :

Please re-post here if you have any further questions.

You will probably never know why you were given a 6 months review date this time, it is pretty arbitary!

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems
