You can appeal, providing you can show that she meets one or more the Support Group criteria.

Of course you can, but it would help if you keep it within one topic, if you click on the My Topics button at the top of the forum topic list, it will show you the topics that you have started.

val wrote: Hi I was helping my daughter with ESA . She attended a medical but has not received a letter from DWP about a decision. Her benefit suddenly went down and she contacted the ESA dept. They told her she had been put on ESA working group and her and has been taken from contributions based benefit and so her National insurance contributions have also stopped. She told them she had not had a letter and they said that they would send one out. That was well over a week ago and she has not received a letter. She wants to appeal and so has the forms, but is having difficulty filling in the form as she does not have a decision date. She has not received an interview letter either. The phone call took over an hour with waiting to speak to people. What do we need to do. It has been about 2 to 3 weeks since my daughters money changed. Thanks Val
Hi V,
Just to clarify things, has your daughter been transferred over to ESA from another benefit, IB, IS or SDA, and has been placed into The Work Related Activity Group (WRAG) ?
