If you are transferred from IB to ESA do you receive annual rises in your ESA components if you receive transitional protection?

If the transitional protection means that you are receiving more than the usual ESA, you will not get increases until such time as ESA payments have caught up with what you are getting.

Is Incapacity Benefit subject to the 1% annual rise or is it increased in line with the CPI rate?
