You do not need to complete the ESA3, but I would still drop them a note explaining that you are not going to complete it and why, the DWP does not handle loose ends very well.

I was just a tad concerned that after being moved over to ESA from IB I wouldn't get paid unless I sent this ESA3 back!

You are being paid ESA(CB) as you were transferred from IB, there is nothing on the ESA3 that should affect that, but as I originally posted, I would recommend your sending the DWP a letter stating that you are not returning it, just for completeness.
