It seems then that the hours you work are disregarded if you claim Carers Allowance or you regularly and substantially care for someone who is in receipt of Attendance Allowance or the highest or middle rate of the care component of Disability Living Allowance. Definition of 'care' notwithstanding.
However what we don't know is whether they take into account the money you've earned form the hours that they've disregarded!
