WCA Points Tally

If a claimant fails a WCA and is deemed FTW, having scored 15 points at a face-to-face, in your opinion, would they be more likely to succeed at reconsideration/appeal than a claimant who had scored, for example, 3 points?
The benefit of your experience would be appreciated.
Thank you.

Hi S,
If a claimant scored 15 points at a face to face or in a paper assessment, they would be placed into The WRAG, as 15 points is the minimum requirement for WRAG entry.

I get the gist of your question though.
It is not possible to give a definitive answer here, there are too many factors involved pertaining to any individual claimant.
We have had quite a few members who have gone from 0 points to The SG on appealing.

It is theoretically possible for a claimant to score over 100 points, and still miss out on The SG as they do not fulfill at least one of The SG Descriptors, which are not points based.
( Some of The SG Descriptors correspond to activities that score the maximum 15 points in The WRAG Descriptors.)
As can be seen below :
WRAG (LCW) Descriptors
SG (LCWRA) Descriptors

In our first round of "Stump The Member" ( makes a change from try and stump the Moderator

Q 1.Theoretically, what is the maximum number of points that a claimant can be awarded and still only gain access to The WRAG of ESA ?
I did work this out once, but have forgotten the answer.

Moderators are excluded from taking part.
One line answers only please, to this topic. (No conferring, phoning a friend, or asking the audience.

Although the above is purely intended as a bit of "Comic Relief", it is also a good exercise in familiarising one's self with The WRAG and SG Descriptors.
