Hi i got a letter telling me from 20th April 2013 i will be placed in the support group but not for how long. I phoned my local DWP office who got someone to phone me back saying i had been awarded contribution based ESA support group for 3 years so thank you all for the great guides which helped me immensely.
Just 2 quick questions, as i have been told verbally on the phone 3 years, should i still request this in writing confirming the 3 years and secondly, i wanted to see the decision makers comments regarding prognosis for the future but im not sure who to write to and what to ask for, can someone help please.

Have a look at the following

ESA medical – what forms to ask for?

There is no point in asking for the re-assessment date in writing, it does not form part of the Decision, so it would be a waste of paper, as the DWP can re-assess you at any time, although, they do tend to stick to the dates.

It is unlikely that the DM will comment on your prognosis as they are not medically trained.
