I have been on IB since about 1998, the dwp have transferred me to esa. I have appealed against the wrag decision. I have had another medical which has gone thru the decision maker, even tho I have not received the outcome yet! I rang up and was told their decision is that I remain on wrag for another two years. I can't get esa as I have had it for 365 days. I have been turned down for dla even tho I disagree with their findings. What on earth can I do now? My husband is self employed and has been running at a loss. He can't give up work or we wouldn't qualify for working families tax credit.
I have very painful arthritis in my upper and lower spine, depression, anxiety and panic attacks. I also have tennis elbow and nerve damage to my neck, weakness in my hands and arms, diabetes, numbness and pins and needles in my lower legs.

I am not sure what advice we can offer in addition to what was posted last week. See

As your husband is working, the only way that you might be able to be eligible for ESA(IR) will be if reduces his hours to less than 24 per week, however, as he is self-employed I am unclear as to how this would, legally, be achieved.
