ESA WRAG was created by Tab24
Hi
Ive just had a phone call saying Ive been put into the WRAG esa after my medical. Im not really sure Ive understood what that means though.
I think I will be contacted by the job centre and have to go for work focused interviews to help me find a suitable job but not be made to apply for jobs is that right?
Also I do voluntary work as an Expert Patient Program tutor. Its not regular it 6 weeks of course 2 hrs a week during which I cant do anything else much including housework and occasional training days. Is this likely to affect my claim?
Thank you for your help

While you are in the WRAG you cannot even be asked to seek work so there will be no requirement for you to find a suitable job.

The following may give you some understanding of what you may be asked to do.

Work Focussed Interviews

Work Programme

The DWP appear to have changed their advice regarding Volunteering and are no saying that claimants should notify them of this, whether it will affect your claim will depend on whether there is anything you do while volunteering that would contradict your stated limitations on the ESA50 you completed.

You should also have a look at our guide on Volunteering
