In your PIP timetable section you say that only existing DLA claimants whose fixed award ends from end of February 2014 will be asked to make a claim for PIP. However, on the gov.uk website it says that DLA awards ending after October 2013 will have to claim PIP. Where are you getting the February 2014 date from and is it correct? I ask as my award ends mid-Februaryu 2014.

They are both correct :)

The legislation defines October as to when existing awards can be transferred from, however, the DWP are allowing 20 weeks in order to carry out a transfer, which puts the effective date back into February of next year.

I hope this explains it.

So, sorry if I'm being silly, but does that mean I will be applying for PIP or DLA? My award ends around 15th February 2014.
