RECEIVED ESA/QUESTIONAIRRE AGAIN??

I am already in the support group of esa, but have received another esa 50 from ATOS asking me to fill it out so i can be transferred to esa from IS/IB or SDA. I am alredy in the support group since Sep 2011 as I already did an ESA 50 and was placed in support group after appeal THEREFORE, I am wondering if this is anerror on DWP's part, or are thet reveiewing me again, and havn't bothered to realise that I am already in Support group of ESA, or they think I am still on INC/SUPP/INC/BEN. Can anybody help me with this Query????.

Hi Jv,

ATOS are sending out these letters for reassessments and not just new conversion from IB. IS and SDA to ESA.

Probably using up excess stock.

So I would take it as a reassessment of your SG award.

You could contact the DWP WCA Team, from the number on any ESA letters that you have.

You would have to request that someone from the WCA Team gave you a call back, as you will initially speak to a Call Responder in a Call Centre.

Every ESA award in either group WRAG or SG comes with a recommended period before reassessment. (the prognosis)

SG awards generally get a prognosis of 12 months to 3 years, which is the longest.

The ESA50 has been altered, and they way that the descriptors are applied has changed since your last one. (ESA50 03/11)

Remember, treat this ESA50 as if it was your first. Do not make the assumption that ATOS or The DWP have any previous knowledge of your medical conditions and any resulting limitations.

The assessing ATOS HCP, will not know what group you were previously in, unless you tell them, and they will view your ESA50 and any extra evidence in a stand alone capacity.
