I have been placed in the WRAG group until the 17th July.

An appeal has been made but came back 'in the bundle of papers', - no change, and yet
I still have been sent papers from the tribunal service for an appeal in 5/6 months time.

I presume that 'no change' meant that was the end of the matter, and I'd lost .

I've contacted various job centres, been sent an ESA 3form, and been told that I may be
able to get income-related ESA. Is this the money that I'm supposed to get to carry me on
'till the appeal, or for a longer period. Some Jobcentres offer VERY conflicting advice.

Do I fill the form in and 'keep my 'fingers crossed' ??

Advice and ideas welcome, please ..............CONFUSED and DEPRESSED !!

I am not sure if we have mentioned this in previous posts

In case you are not aware, your real name appears to be showing in the forum, if you want to change this then follow the instructions in the following FAQ

My full name is showing, how can I stop it?

The "no change" notice will have been in relation to a Reconsideration which is done automatically by the DWP when you request an appeal. It means that a different Decision Maker has looked at your file and decided to uphold the original Decision, this being the case your papers have been passed to the Tribunal Service for a hearing to be convened.

The ESA3 captures information about your financial situation to see whether your are eligible for Income Related ESA, if you are then your payments will continue after 17 July, so you need to complete and return this to your local DWP office.
