I have got a letter ready to send to my Decision Maker.

However, I now notice that there are two offices who write to me.

Most communications come from :

Lisahally Processing Centre, in Londonderry.

However, on a couple of occasions I have received a more personal letter. In these cases, the letter has come from :

Belfast Benefit Delivery Centre, and is signed by a gentleman who refers to himself as an Incapacity Benefit Reassessment, Benefit Delivery Expert.

Do you have any idea as to which of these two addresses I should write to?

If it makes any difference, the second person, (from the Belfast address), was responding to my Complaint that my benefit had inexplicably been halted on a couple of occasions.

Unfortunately, it did take his department some weeks to respond and clearly, as ATOS have called me for an assessment in little more than a week's time, speed is imperative.

Thanks George.

If you are writing in connection with the assessment, then the process is outsourced to ATOS and the DWP will not interfere in it, you need to address any complaint to ATOS Customer Care, I do not know if the addressing is different in Northern Ireland from the rest of the UK, but this is the address I have

Atos Healthcare,
Customer Relations
Wing G,
Government Buildings,
Lawnswood,
Leeds
LS16 5PU

If your letter is in regard the transfer, but not the assessment, then the IB Reassessment team at Belfast may be the best person to address it to, if it is more general then Londonderry would seem more correct.

I am aware that Belfast is a mail printing centre for the DWP so a lot of mail comes from there but is actually originates from another office. The letters you have received should have the address they have been sent from, rather than the envelopes, so if these correspond then I would use them.
