How long has everyone waited ?

I sent the dreaded forms back for the transfer from IB to ESA , its now 8 weeks since they received it as I have that confirmed by special delivery. How much longer will they take to make a decision? This waiting is so stressful. Since I returned the forms I ave been seen as a matter of urgency a pain specialist, with the result they are going to infuse ketamine under anaesthetic ! Dwp don't know this and the fact I said I had falls which last week resulted in fracturing my foot, now confined to cast for 9 weeks minimum, should I inform them of these latest events? Please can someone help with these ?
Kindest regards to all and this fantastic website

Hi Ch,
See my comments on the post below regarding how long it may take before hearing anything from ATOS/DWP :

It will certainly do no harm to update ATOS regarding any change or deterioration in your condition since returning the ESA50.
You could send copies of any medical evidence/letters that you have, with a covering letter requesting that the new evidence should be taken into account with your ESA50.
Address this to the same place as your ESA50 was posted to.
You could also send the same FAO The ESA Decision Maker, at the address of The Benefits Office on any ESA letters that you have, just in case ATOS have already carried out a paper assessment and returned your file to The DWP ESA DM to make a decision.
Sending Documents to the DWP or ATOS
