Will ESA still be paid if over 12 months and appea was created by bowman
I was receiving IB which changed to ESA. I was placed in the WRAG group. Payments commenced from 25/07/13.
I immediately appealed to go into Support group but my has appeal still not been heard.
Will payments continue until the appeal is heard or stop from 24/07/13?
many thanks

Hi B,
Once you submit an appeal, your ESA award will receive an automatic reconsideration which will be carried out by a different more senior DWP Decision Maker.
If the adverse decision is not changed in your favour at that stage, you should receive written notification of this.
Your appeal will then be sent forward to The Appeals Tribunal Service, and you will receive an evidence pack/bundle.
If you are appealing a WRAG award to SG, then you will continue to receive WRAG rate ESA :
What will I be paid while I appeal?
&
Do I have to attend WFIs while I appeal?
If you are in receipt of CB ESA only in The WRAG, then you will only receive this for 365 days before it ceases, just as you would have, if you hadn't appealed.
If your appeal was successful, and you had exhausted your 365 day entitlement before the hearing, then your CB ESA would be reinstated, and any monies owed from the time it had ceased would be reimbursed.
12 Month Limit for ESA(CB)

sorry I got my dates wrong. ESA started 25/07/12 and will end 24/07/13. If the is Tribunal meeting not held by 24/07/13 can I assume payments will stop and be reinstated if I win?
Cheers

Yes, if you were in receipt of CB ESA only.
Yes, they would be reinstated if successful.
Although not entirely pertinent to your query, this post may clarify further. :
