,have CFS/ME how do i get into Support group?

has any one got into the support group on the basis that they had CFS,or am i wasting my time?

Hi S,
We have heard from quite a lot of members who suffer from CFS and ME and have been placed into The SG.
It would not be the CFS in itself that gained you entry to The SG, it would be the limitations caused by the CFS, and whether you could show that the limitations fulfilled at least one of the qualifying SG Descriptors, or the Exceptional Circumstances Rules. (ESA REG 35)
I note that you state " i might be able to walk 50 meters once but not again"
To qualify under "Mobilising" you also have to show that you could not self propel a manual wheelchair unaided, even if you do not usually use one.

If you have appealed the original WRAG award from August 2012, this would be classed as a "Late Appeal" which can be allowed up to 13 months after an adverse decision, as long as you can show good cause.
