Using ESA85A as evidence on ESA50 renewal was created by stu2012
Hi There
Been in the support group one year now ESA85A states degenerative disease unable to mobilise more than 50 metres. Thinking of sending this in as evidence on renewal of ESA50. Has anyone done this before and remained in the support group.
Best Regards

Hi s2012,
Other members have used previous ESA85/A medical reports as supporting evidence, where the content supports their re-qualification under reassessment.
It is certainly fine to do so.
I am not aware of any feedback with regards to this scenario.
Even if there was, there would be no guarantee of course that the same would apply to yourself.
You should also go into detail of how and why you still qualify for The SG, giving details of how your limitations have not improved, and that you have not adapted to the limitations previously suffered.

I did this on my renewal for ESA over the Christmas period. I stayed in the support group... Having said that my original medical form only looked at the mobilising descriptor and nothing else... so there was nothing which might have caused an issue...
