Hi, I am on ib and filling in my esa form , found a letter from a neuropsychiatrist however it is just over a year old. Anything else i have contains private info also unfortunatly not just diagnoses and conditions . not happy sending that to them . would the letter dated 2012 be accepted as as evidence as it lists my mental health problems without giving any private problem away if you know what i mean ? thanks

Yes, you can use it.
The older that evidence is the less weight it will carry with ATOS and the DWP, you can offset this to some extent by explaining in the ESA50 why it is still relevant, for example; your condition(s) are not likely to improve even with treatment, you should also give some thought as to why you have not been able to adapt the limitations that result from your condition(s).
