:) Thank you very much for all of the guides on this site. Without them I don't think I would have been put in the support group. I am so pleased and can't quite believe it. I asked for my medical to be recorded. Everything was done by the book this time, unlike my last medical when I scored 0 points and the assessor just flicked through my information back and forth, and didn't ask me any questions that related to my health. I only joined benefits and work after my last assessment, so had not used your guides. Luckily as I had sent in medical information to support my claim, the decision maker put me in the wrag group. I was left alone for the year, didn't hear a peep from anyone, but I do wish that I had come across your site before, so I could have prepared myself better.

Thank you Benefits and Work!

Hi j49,

That is really good news !! :cheer:

Thanks for letting us know, and for the complimentary comments.

If you wish to know the recommended length of the SG award before you are reassessed,(the prognosis) you can ring the 0845 number on the SG award decision notice letter, they may have the prognosis on-screen. You can request the ESA85 medical report at the same time.

How often will I be reviewed

If you wish to request the information in writing, see :

ESA medical – what forms to ask for?
