Timing Out was created by David Moriaty
I am appealing in person against the ESA
I have been told this can take up to 40 weeks !

I am due to officially retire in May 2014 (I will be 62}
Does anyone know what happens if I have not had my appeal heard by the time I retire ? I only had the letter from them last week.
Does the whole thing just stop and the money I feel I should have had is lost to me ?

Thanks for any help

In case you are not aware, your real name appears to be showing in the forum, if you want to change this then follow the instructions in the following FAQ

My full name is showing, how can I stop it?

Your Tribunal will still be heard, but any back payments due may be limited by your retirement.
