From a previous post, you appear to have received the assessment report this should explain why the assessor recommended an LCWRA award, either you met one of the SG Descriptors or you qualified by meeting the Exceptional Circumstances regulation.

Hi Pictish66

I do not believe you can up load an image, As Gordon has stated previously check out your assessors report. If the decision maker has made a decision which goes against the recommendation of the assessor then you should apply for a mandatory reconsideration. check out our guides: www.benefitsandwork.co.uk/help-for-claimants/esa1

In order to qualify for the Support Group you need to;
* meet one or more of the relevant descriptors, or
* meet one of the associated Exceptional Circumstances rules.

The Support Group descriptors and the Exceptional Circumstances are listed in the Claiming ESA guides in the members area.

Ok
The plot thickens
After asking Evey few days for the lt54 and the uc113 I get this in my journal.
"After further investigation I have been able to determine that you have been awarded LCWRA not LCW. I have requested the decision maker changes this which he has. This has now generated an underpayment but under universal credit process we have to offer this to debt management for any overpayments that you may have., If you wait a couple of days you can request some arrears back under financial hardship or they may be able to refund you some of this money if its not taken in full. This means you wont need to apply for mandatory reconsideration as you have been awarded the right element. From this payment however you will start to receive the additional amount its only the arrears that's offered to debt management. I will upload a letter to your journal to confirm this"
My statements now been updated back to may .
Don't get me wrong it's great news ,but I find it utterly bizarre that this would happen.
That's now three different decisions .
I've never seen or heard of this happening before.
Kind regards

Hi Pictish66

Congratulations for not giving up, as many people would. We do live in strange times.

Thank you for posting and explainng your plight, it will give much encouragement to other members on this forum and beyond.

It is normal for DWP to check for any overpayments and offset them against any backdate award.

Going forward you will receive an additional £341.92 pcm in with your normal UC payments.
