Hi there.
I am wondering if you can advise me on this? First of all, I reported a change of circumstances (actually an improvement in my functioning), in February this year, but still have had no decision. I had an acknowledgement a couple of months ago, and I know my GP was asked for info., but I am surprised I still have no decision from DWP. I know they are taking a very long time, but this really does seem absurd.
I could ring of course, but would rather not as this causes a great deal of anxiety.
Secondly, looking at my post office statements, I see the figures of what I am meant to have been receiving do not tally, and in fact didn't even before my last award....Are there figures I am not taking into account? I do not believe I owe Dwp any money, yet the monthlty payments of PIP are lower than the total of the two awards should be according to their notification letter for my previous (and current) award by a significant amount? I have tried to work this out in various ways, but so far, nothing tallies here..?
Any ideas why the latter might be so?

Hi Dyhannah

I'm afraid nothing has changed from the last time you asked about this. If you cannot ring or you have no one who can ring on your behalf (you would need to be there to give permission for this) there is nothing you can do but wait or write a letter with your questions. It is a long time you have been waiting, but in some areas, they are behind.

Regarding the amounts you are being paid is something you need to ask the DWP about (by letter). The amount being paid in your bank should tally with the amount on your award letter unless you have been notified that you have a debt and they are clawing money back. This would not happen without you being informed.
