TOPIC: DLA to PIP

DLA to PIP 1 week 2 days ago #241183

Been waiting 14 weeks since filling in forms, dread the postman calling each day.
Don't know what is worse , the stress of not knowing or hoping its in a pile for a paper consideration only. At 69 with several problem including a stroke I don't need this worry.
Its a form of mental torture. DWP state 6 to 8 weeks its not rocket science to get out forms to coincide with staff being available to do what ever they do.
Anyone else had this problem ???

Hi Terry

I am sorry that you have been waiting for so long. There are reports in certain parts of the country of long waits, but this is only anecdotal evidence. Only thing you can do is ring and ask them.

Esme, I notice that you said you waited 23 weeks. Can I ask which part of the country you come from? I waiting to hear when my assessment will be.
