TOPIC: Pip letter disappointed

Pip letter disappointed 2 weeks 10 hours ago #247839

Hi got my decision today
Mobilising 12 points awarded
Care 6 points no award
I can’t believe it I was on DLA Middle rate care for an indefinite period
And higher rate mobility and also ESA in the support group
There are so many contradictions and inconsistencies it unreal
They clearly have not cross checked my other benefits evidence , I will now gather more evidence to send them for a mandatory reconsideration

There are significant differences between the DLA Care criteria and that for PIP Daily Living so make sure that you have shown that you clearly meet the PIP Descriptors.

Our appeal guides in the PIP area will help you through the MR process but if you have any questions then return to the forum and we will do our best to help.

Could someone help with this please

Hi Baden87

Just go through the report in order and talk about where you disagree with the assessment and what evidence you have already provided or are now submitting to back up what you are saying.
Make it clear which question you are talking about.

Although you may be annoyed by some of the assessor's remarks because of inaccuracies - concentrate on the specific PIP criteria, because its the points you want over-turned.
