Hi,

After using all the great advice and information on ESA on this website, my wife has heard back from the DWP with a result.

ESA Support Group with no Medical needed, and no need to reapply for 3 years!

Thank you!

Hi,

Welcome to Benefits and Work :)

A great reason for making your first post on the forum !!

Congratulations on your wife's SG Award with the maximum 3 year prognosis, and thanks for letting us know.

Positive feedback is always appreciated, so thanks for that also ! :)

You might want to consider requesting copies of the documentation used in coming to the decision which might help when the time comes for her reassessment.

It would be advisable to request them in the near future, rather than waiting circa 3 years hence.

See : This Post.

Finally, if your forum name is also your real name, you may wish to change it to maintain some anonymity.

This can be done quite easily by following the instructions on this FAQ :

My full name is showing, how can I stop it?
