After having constant sciatic nerve pain, Endometriosis diagnosed in 2012 I have also had to deal with becoming homeless and fighting the DWP all the way to tribunal.

Today I am pleased to say that with the help of Benefits and work and my sheer determination for justice I won my tribunal!!!!

I want to tell people that however hard it seems to fight these wrong decisions you must because the inequality in this country is disgusting. The cost of tribunal will never come to light if people give in and surely this reduces the savings made which I'm sure could be bigger elsewhere. so it's pointless putting people through all this stress and possibly contributing to more ill health.

Before I got ill I had been a nurse for 10 years, I had no idea how much people struggle, it's pointless trying to help someone in hospital if their living conditions make them ill or not want to get well because there is no support I realised that unless we fight for what is right we are not seen and not heard. Unless you have been through this experience it would be impossible to understand.

Wish you all the best of luck in your fight.

That's great news, thanks for letting us know and for your kind words about B+W :)

Well done for digging in and fighting for what you are entitled to at a time when you had so many other things to deal with. I am sure you will have given other members hope and encouragement.

Well done Vicky :-) Ans so rightfully spoken.

Counting down the days to my partners tribunal now , on 28th of this month. It's been such a horrible 7 months :-(

Really good to hear a positive store. I too have endo and nerve pain but mine is at the fron of my leg and in my groin. I have been given an award but I should be on higher rate mobility and I'm considering whether to appeal (I don't want to lose what I already have)

Do you mind me asking the level of your award please? It would be interesting to know because we have similar conditions although I also have fibromyalgia now.

Hope you don't mind me asking, if you do then please don't worry and congratulations anyway!!

That's great news!!! Thanks for sharing it. So there is some hope! Waiting for Tribunal date, and had been feeling it is hopeless.
