Hi, My first question here. I have been invited to become a director of a new private limited company. At this juncture I don't feel able to undertake any work for it. If I inform the DWP of such a change in circumstances, might my ESA be at risk? Thanks.

I would get advice before proceeding, as a Director the earnings and assets of the company may be attributable to you which may have an effect on your ESA.
Do an internet search for "welfare advice" with your postcode, town or county.
