I received a letter today informing me my P.I.P runs out on March the 15th. It states that I need to make a new claim if i still need help with daily living or mobility needs. visit www.gov.uk/pip
If you want to claim again call 0800 917 2222
I was awarded high mobility and low rate care for 2yrs, I have chronic illnesses that will never get better and my health has deteriorated.
Why do I have to make a new claim? I thought I would receive a renewal form.
The last 3 awards I have been awarded were by going through a tribunal each time as the dwp refused me each time.
If I have to put in a new claim then I lose approximately 2 months money as soon as they receive it. Then another 6 months plus of fighting the system again.
Please advice me of what I should do my stress levels are already hitting the roof.

The process is the same as when you originally applied for PIP. See

www.gov.uk/pip/how-to-claim

and our PIP Claim guide.
