Decision not proof read. was created by JELLYTOT
I received my pip decision report and was amazed at some of the gobbledegook written! It is obvious that whoever typed it has not proof read it. One of the words was just a load of symbols, while another section which talked about my sight, and ability to make budgeting decisions etc ended by saying that I could do all unaided as 'you had only slightly reduced left arm function and grip'. What that has got to do with my mental state is beyond me! These things are complicated enough without this example of very poor report writing. Parts of the reportw ere mixed-up with other bits too. Has anyone else found this too?

It is not unusual for assessors to copy/paste text into the reports and this can sometimes lead to the problems you mention, although it may suggest a less than professional attitude to completing the reports it is not enough on it's own to discredit the report, this must be done with specific examples.
