Friend with anxiety problems Panicking about PIP

A friend of mine is up for her second PIP assessment with ATOS. She asked for the original venue to be changed to somewhere closer, and their customer service said it could be changed to a nearer venue just the once. They said that the original date and location would be cancelled, and that they'd send her new appointment would be sent by post, she can't use either text or mobile phone. That was last Friday, 11th May, and she's now panicking that the letter for new appointment, venue and time hasn't arrived. She's frantic that ATOS will claim that she hasn't attended the original location and time, and her PIP will be stopped. What can I do to help her ?
Kind regards, Pen.

You should be able to phone on their behalf, they will need to be present for the call to authorise you to speak for them.

My anxious friend has got her new appointment letter, but is now panicking about what documentation to take with her to her ATOS F2F next week. The appointment letter says two forms of ID, plus repeat prescription list and care plan. Would it be more prudent to also take copies of the info in the PIP2 form and carer reports? Have others found this helpful? Sorry to ask but a a mutual friend of ours has just died and she's in a bad state herself.
Kind Regards, Pen.

There's no harm in taking the information although the assessor should have copies.
