Hi Guys,
I have just received my assessment decision for Universal Credit and have been placed accordingly in the LCWRA . I just wished to check as I have read contradicting info as to when I will get my first additional payment for being in this group and whether I will receive any backdated payment as I provided a fit note/sick note evidence at my first initial UC meeting and entered my corresponding fit note dates on my initial UC online claim application made on 17th July. My first UC payment was received on 23rd August.

It was nice and easy with ESA as it was the beginning of the 14th week of your claim, for UC it is much more difficult.
So first of all, it depends on when you first reported yourself as being unfit for work and supported this with a Fit Note, I assume this was when you made the claim. From this date you count 13 weeks, this then gives you the payment period.
Based on your post, I think you have just scraped into this period and it should be included in the payment that you will receive next week, however, if the period started later, say a week or more into your claim then it may be the following payment.

Hi Gordon, thanks for getting back to me. I made my initial online claim on 17th July stating not fit for work with fit note dates included. Sorry just to clarify do they pay from initial claim date with medical evidence such as the fit note or do they not start applying the agreed lcwra payment Untill post 13th week of being on UC?
